Each season, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra enriches the lives of nearly 70,000 children from all walks of life through our education program, Adventures in Music. Students in pre-school through high school benefit from these engaging, interactive programs. More than 70% of the children we serve are at-risk, low-income, from rural areas or have little or no access to cultural resources. We invite you to join the Orchestra as a sponsor of one of these enriching, educational programs.
Kinderconcert or Young Persons Concert Series
Designed for children ages three through six, Kinderconcerts feature a musical version of Dr. Seuss's My Many Colored Days. Cowboys and Culture, our lively Young Person's Concerts explores the history of Fort Worth set to music of great American composer Aaron Copland, and the familiar sounds of Rodeo. These entertaining and educational performances introduce more than 6,800 local elementary school students to symphonic music.

Side-by-Side Rehearsal
Supporting aspiring musicians with practical experience and encouragement is a key component of our education program. In preparation for an upcoming performance, members of the Youth Orchestra of Greater Fort Worth rehearse alongside FWSO musicians. FWSO conductors lead the rehearsal, providing helpful feedback. The opportunity to experience a professional working rehearsal first-hand is invaluable.
