The Fort Worth Symphony is proud to be a longtime partner of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute Link Up program. Link Up is a yearlong music curriculum created by the Weill Music Institute and taught in the classroom to all Fort Worth Independent School District 4th graders. Over 6,000 students participated in active music-making in the classroom and learned repertoire on the recorder or with their voice. The culmination of the program was meant to be a live, interactive performance in which students sang and played recorders with the FWSO.
We were so disappointed these performances were canceled this year, but the music goes on! Join FWSO musicians for a special mini-performance of “Link Up: The Orchestra Sings” right here on Tuesday, April 7 at 10:00 am.
