Step back into prehistoric times, when strange musical “creatures” roamed the earth and inspired the instruments we know today! Join the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra for When Instruments Roamed the Earth!®—a laugh-filled, multimedia adventure led by the eccentric paleo-musicologist Sir Humphrey Treble-Clef. Through imaginative “research,” Sir Humphrey reveals how modern orchestral instruments may have evolved from giant, dinosaur-like beasts. Packed with surprises, on-stage action, and vivid orchestral color, this family-friendly concert is the perfect introduction to the sights and sounds of the symphony.
Before the concert, kids can explore hands-on activities like our instrument petting zoo and get creative at our coloring station. Tickets start at just $15!
