Adriana Voirin DeCosta

Adriana DeCosta, a native from Argentina, is Principal Second Violin of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and served as Assistant Concertmaster for 3 of those seasons.

Before joining the FWSO in 1988, she held Principal Second Violin positions with the Dallas Ballet Orchestra, Dallas Opera Orchestra, Dallas Chamber Orchestra and Concertmaster of the Irving Symphony.

In addition to her extensive background in orchestral performance, DeCosta was a founding member of the Wyeth String Quartet comprised of principals of the FWSO.

DeCosta has a full studio of young talented violin students.  She is also a florist designer with her own company, Orange Blossom Blooms.
