Aaron Pino

Aaron Pino has been Fourth Horn in the FWSO since 1995. He grew up in San
Marcos, Texas, graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy in 1986, received a
B.M. in Horn Performance/Music Theory in 1990 from SMU, and completed a
M.M. in Horn Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory in 1993. He
also spent the 1991-92 season in Miami Beach as a member of the New World
Symphony, including tours of the UK and Japan. He has performed with most of
the major musical organizations in both the Metroplex and the San Francisco Bay
Area, including the Dallas and San Francisco Symphonies, and has twice toured
the US with the Western Opera Theater Company. He also taught at TCU from
2002-11, and continues to be active as a horn teacher and chamber musician.

He currently serves as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Dallas-Fort Worth
Professional Musicians Association, the musician's union for the entire DFW
area. Aaron is married to Victoria Barker Pino, a Graduate Gemologist who works
for Lyles-DeGrazier. They have two cats, Cramer and Della Rose, both Russian
Blues. In his spare time, Aaron likes to read, listen to LPs, cook, and play
cribbage and backgammon. He is an avid fan of international soccer, and is also
a firm believer that Shakespeare was Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford.
