Meet the Percussion Section
Within every orchestra, there are four “families” - percussion, strings, brass and woodwinds - and the instruments in each family share similar characteristics and sounds. You’ll hear and see members of the Fort Worth Symphony play their instruments and you’ll also learn what makes each of their instrument families so special.
We’re inviting our youngest audience members (we’re looking at you Pre-K through 2nd graders!) to join us every Tuesday to learn about each of the instrument families in the orchestra.
