Each year, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra invites exceptional young instrumentalists and vocalists in the state of Texas to compete in the FWSO Young Artist Competition. The live semifinal and final rounds of this competition were scheduled to take place last month. We regret having to postpone the Young Artist Competition and will reschedule for the fall.
In the meantime, we want you to get to know these incredibly talented young artists and will spotlight them throughout the month of April. The semifinalists will be featured each week in our virtual Music Lab.
And don’t forget to check back in the fall to see which of these young musicians wins the grand prize of a $5,000 scholarship and the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Fort Worth Symphony!
