Julie is a Fort Worth native and has degrees from TCU and the University of North Texas.

Julie studied bow making with the award-winning bow maker, Rodney Mohr, and uses one of her own bows in the orchestra. Until recently, she repaired and rehaired bows for colleagues and students in the north Texas area.

In her free time, she enjoys biking, eating, and learning French.
