Originally declared “unplayable,” Tomasi’s Trumpet concerto has a warm, playful and joyous character, which will shine through in a performance by FWSO Principal Trumpet Kyle Sherman. Plus, Miguel Harth-Bedoya leads the orchestra in Holst’s cosmic masterpiece — The Planets — an exhilarating musical journey through the Solar System.
