Within every orchestra there are four “families” - percussion, strings, brass and woodwinds - and the instruments in each family share similar characteristics and sounds. The Fort Worth Symphony invites our youngest audience members (Pre-K through 2nd grade) to join us every Tuesday to learn about each of the instrument families in the orchestra. Members of the Fort Worth Symphony will play their instruments and provide insight into what makes their instrument family so special.
